More Than a Decade of Impact
Since 2000, the Foundation has been a catalyst for community health throughout western and central Pennsylvnia. Now as it begins its second decade of service, the Foundation is funding grants for public health in the state of West Virginia. Grantmaking is divided into four broad categories:
Programs in various stages of development are eligible for Foundation support, including: demonstrations, pilot projects, model programs, expansion plans and well-established initiatives. Ideally, the Foundation seeks to support programs that impact multiple counties and that attract collaborative funding from community partners.

Grant Guidelines
The Highmark Foundation awards high-impact grants to nonprofit organizations to spearhead programs aimed at improving community health in the communities served by Highmark Inc, its subsidiaries and affiliates.
